The quality of these cut off wheels in my opinion is GOOD. I rate them as GOOD because you can see some obvious defects sometimes in some of them but over all they are worth having considering the price. When you go to a major big box store you'll pay 20 to 30 dollars for just 10 or 20 of these discs. For the price vs quality I would call this a plus purchase for those who need them.

The pros are that these are cheap and many come in a pack. You're going to need many though in my experience. Went through 4 of them so far just trying to cut one particleboard shelf. Cons, they are EXTREMELY thin and fragile. They are also smaller than I expected, less than 2 inches in diameter. But they are cutting and I'm almost through this board so they work somewhat. Would only recommend for cutting softer materials. Have not tried with anything other than particleboard yet. You need a steady hand because slightly applying a side load will cause it to shatter and throw the pieces all over the room. WEAR EYE PROTECTION GLASSES WHILE USING THESE!

These are the best solution for cutting thin/light gauge metal using a rotary hand tool (Dremel, Proxxon etc.). You really have to understand what a tool is made for in order to give it a meaningful rating, and the review I saw here that these are "awful" for cutting particle board is a good example. These are no more meant for cutting particle board than a circular saw is meant for cutting bread.
