I looked it up on you tube and saw a video on using these bits to cut glass. Tried it and it worked like a charm. .So far, 2 holes thru 1/4" tempered glass. took between 30 second to 1 minute per hole. Use water just as you would with any core type bit. Only reason for 4 stars is I don't know about longevity. but for such a minor cost, great job.

Worked excellent for for a few holes. Perfect for one time or a few cuts. The diamond abrasive coating is uneven and wears fast- But it got the job done - cheaply. Don’t buy if you expect to use them time after time , - perfect for a one time job or few uses.

I needed to bore a couple of holes in porcelain tile for my shower surround. These hole cutters are inexpensive and worked perfectly. I used a drill press set on lowest RPM and had my wife mist the tile with water from a spray bottle while I bored the holes. I took my time so the tile wouldn't crack and was rewarded with perfect smooth holes in a minute or so.

I was impressed at how well it held up. My wife had several ceramic pots that needed drain holes and this kit did the job. With a slow drill and water lube, it was just the ticket to getting the job done. I paid for an entire kit what I would have for one bit locally!

It worked better than I thought! The only thing I wish it came in a package with each individual bit having its own spot. Otherwise I love it. Great price.
