A friend suggested I get this particular oil--Rose Geranium oil: Pelargonium capitatum x radens--as a tick repellant for my cat. I've used it three times and he hasn't had a tick since the second application. It smells good to me, but I can't speak for him. The price was FAR lower than ANY other brand I found online, it arrived quickly, and I used it immediately. I'm VERY happy with this product! No ticks on my dogs!
I have read a lot of testimonials about Rose Geranium Oil working as a tick deterrent. I decided to give it a try instead of using harmful toxins on my dogs, and it was worked. I put a drop on their shoulders and a tiny bit on the back of their ears, every day or every other day, and I have not found any ticks on them since I began using this product. it is a great alternative if you're going to be spending a day hiking in the woods, because I use it on myself as well.
