Outstanding product. Arrived quickly and well packed. I have a battery driven power drill. Black and Decker as a matter of fact. Every time I go to use the drill, I have to charge the batteries. It it a good drill. If I am only using the drill for a fast job or an intermittent one, the corded drill works every time from the outset. I love the fact I can pull out the drill and it works and works well. Black and Decker make a first rate product and have used the brand for years. They just make a good product. I just love the convenience of knowing I have a drill that will work even if I haven't used it for a long period of time. Class A product and will continue to purchase their tools without hesitation. what can I really say its a drill.but the motor being directly centered over the handle was a good idea here the long narrow gearbox helps to get into extra deep tight areas the drill is well balanced and easy to use as a screwdriver not thrilled with cord as it is super stiff in cold weather. I purchased 2 more.that should say it all.hope they last as long as the ancestors B/D 3/8 drills.and we work our drills real hard
I have been using this drill since I received it..... and the results have been excellent. It has lots of power and the balance is great with the handle placement. I am very happy with this purchase.
I am a Black and Decker person when it comes to tools. I owned a similar drill for several years but suddenly it disappeared from my tool box! Suspect a friend "borrowed" it for good. I use it for small tasks at home but it can also handle big projects as well. I like everything about this drill.
Another example of a quality tool made by B&D! I've been using B&D tools for over 40 years and cannot understand paying the high prices for competitors tools. B&D was the first to make the electric drill in 1916 making everyone else copycats. Any tool if used is eventually going to wear out no matter the cost. If properly used and cared for a B&D tool will last as long as any of them. This drill with it's 5.2 amp motor has all the torque needed for any job around our home. For the money you can't beat the B&D tool!
