The shelter itself is thick enough to last for several seasons. I have an older Shelterlogic canopy with sides that lasted almost 6 years when we had a heavy snow and that was it. I am going to re-build the old one but use stronger pipe and fittings. I like the way the posts on this shelter fit together but I would prefer something a little more sturdy. A post every 8 feet is not strong enough to support anything in a storm. You should have the option of purchasing more posts and fitting if you want them.

Well I was after something a bit more sturdy... I live in the North East ( Upstate NY), this this will be on the ground with just about any real weather conditions... But for $60.00 it's a good shade canapy...but that's about it ... I'm wondering if it can stand up to 20-25 mph winds ... If I had to guess...it's going to turn into a great big sail across the property...
