Actually I have never owned one. I borrowed my son's to trim a bush that got out of hand. They work great. But I accidently broke his, one of the arms slide out of the long arm and I did not see it and the end broke. I put it back together and it still works fine. But feeling guilty about it I bought my son another one. The cutting hook on this one is a little different I am not sure if it will be as sturdy as the other one. If he complains he can have the old one back.
