Needed a spigot for a rain barrel I was making - this model was easy to install at the bottom of the drum even though the access hole at the top of the drum was rather small (too small to get your arm and upper body into). Very heavy cast brass, good quality. Will definitely buy another if I decide to make another rain barrel.

Found the brass was 1/32 inch too large to simply replace the filler neck on my Blitz Blue Water Storage Can (identical to the red gas models). Use bench grinder to remove the slightest edge and created a super water buffalo for refilling my RV tank when on site. Bought a double-female hose fitting at HD and back-filled at campground hydrant, then connected hose to the RV water tank inlet.
