Wow, I am blown away. I like it better than my 42cc chainsaw. It is ideal for medium-duty storm clean-up, tree felling and firewood cutting. I will use all Milwaukee m18 volt batts. It did take a little bit of run time to get the bar oil pump to prime but it is working grate now. Have fell 5 or 6 16 to 20 inch Doug fur trees . Bat last fairly long but takes about 1 1/2 hrs to recharge, not a big deal for me I have 6 5 amp hr back up bats from other 18 volt Milwaukee tools I own . What I like the best is I don't have to wear hearing protection and the chain adjuster is on the side were they all should be. Had no problems with this seller and the shipping was fast. I really like this saw it also light weight and thats makes it awesome.

Overweight, excessive oil use, small tooth size, but ok on 6"D and smaller stuff. Triggering is a little clutsy. Replacement chains not cheap.

This did really work great. I used it cutting cedars spruces and mahoganies for a week. I became the go to saw guy on the crew because you don’t have to start a motor for quick cuts. It does either use more bar oil or just have a smaller reservoir than other saws, but it isn’t a big deal. I bought an extra 12 amp hour battery and with two I got through a whole day. Each battery would last 2-3 hours between charges, and it does take more than two hours to recharge a dead battery. The factory chain from Oregon performs well. It totally outperforms the gas powered smaller echo and stihl saws that were there. I cut trees up to 18” diameters and it did great. The bar and adjustment mechanisms are on par with good brands. Best of all, it doesn’t vibrate. I don’t have numb hands at the end of the day!!!Read full review

I am a full time builder and use Milwaukee 18 volt tools. For me this is a big advantage because the batteries are high quality and I can switch between many tools instead of owing a box full of batteries and chargers. . I bought this saw after I had a chance to use one belonging to a friend. I tried it out in my woodlot on smaller trees, delimbing, pruning and ladder work. I am very happy with the results. Compared to gasoline it is less than half the noise and so much cleaner. When it comes to heavy duty cutting, cut after cut for hours on end I still reach for the Stihl gas powered saw.

My fire department uses 3 of these saws. Much easier to run than gas powered saws and the battery life seems to handle most situations. The only draw back is the chain wants to come off after a few minutes of run time. The heat causes the chain to expand. If you keep a eye on this and tighten the chain a little it does a awesome job
