I use this in the spring to vacuum and clean out the beds and it works well for that. It mulched and bagged the leaves and other stuff left over from the fall. I also use the blower to mover grass and things into a pile after cutting and edging the lawn. That also works well. It easy to change from vacuum to blower just sure everything is fully fitted in place as there are safety switches that will not allow the unit to be powered unless they are. It can be a bit heavy and unbalanced as a yard vac but it get the job done. Overall I would recommend it for home yard work. Keeping in mind that it needs an extension cord and you are limited to the length of your cord or AC outlet availability. The AC motor has plenty of power though.

We have only used this product maybe 6 times for normal yard clippings. We have a small yard and only 5 small Lantana bushes. It ran today for about 5 minutes, when it just quit, totally gone. The product itself was easy to use and worked great for our yard, however, cannot recommend based on the life we experienced. We purchased in October 2016 and it is now out of warranty.

Overall powerful leaf blower & worth the money for a corded one. If the pic it looks as if can leave the skinny tube on when you vacuum & kinda deceiving because you have to use the thick cumbersome tube to do that. I thought from the pic that's the way anyway & I thought there must been a switch to go from blowing to vacuum mode. I will just have to get used to it. Good power blowing & suction just don't operate like I hoped

This blower is pretty powerful and it also has a great blower and a great vacuum function. It's also lightweight and very easy to maneuver. The price is excellent! The only downside is that you are attached to a cable, but you can easily purchase some extensions to go as far as you want. This was definitely better than expected and I would easily purchase this all over again if I had to.

Hello, I am taking the time to leave a feedback so other buyers can see how my purchase went. I have a similar Craftsman leaf blower, but it's the mixed gas version. I did not want to mess with mixed gas anymore, the fumes, and the mess, the noise! So I got this electric version. It is quieter, it's more powerful than the gas version, and you never have the hassle of trying to start it. I did not buy this as a vacuum or leaf chopper. I got this as a blower only! Works great as a blower, but I would not want to use it as a chopper vacuum. It could clog up the turbine blower/chopper blade. If you have to use the leaf vacuum I'd make sure to vacuum only very dry leaves and I would not overload the unit. Vacuum & chop the leaves slowly! I liked the $50.00 price. I like the 240 mile an hour power. I like the small light weight design. I also like the 2 year factory warranty that Sears gives with the blower. Good Luck!Read full review
