Installed this bagging system on my John Deere E120. We are surrounded by mature oaks maples, and sassafras. This thing works even better than I had imagined! It picks up all my leaves, grass clippings, even the occasional unwanted/ unseen stick. It beats the hell of of raking. It was easy to install too. Less than 30 minutes after opening the box, I was emptying the bags. Recommended!

The assembly instructions are terrible and the pictures are worthless. It took me 2-3 times longer to assemble it than it would have if the pictures had given context to the whole project rather than all close ups. The bags are easier to detach and dump than I expected.and I am pleased with the system as a whole.

The grass catcher is kind of big. The rubber security strap on the front of the connection to the mower base is to short. But basic lee the catcher is very easy to put to gather. It works great.

Great value and original John Deere parts. Instructions were bad. To the point I could not use them to assemble. I used Youtube and it was great. All parts can in a big box and it was heavy.

I purchased the JD bagger to pick up the thatch pulled up by a tine de-thatcher. The combination of the bagger and the high-lift blades that came with the bagger did a better job that I could have hoped. After de-thatching for the first time in 15 years, the yard looked like a newly cut hay-field, except in this case the "hay" was brown. The bags had to be emptied frequently due to the quantity of thatch, but even with frequent emptying, the bagger made the job surprisingly quick. While the bagger lid had an observation window to see the quantity in the bags, the quantity of dust generated by my thatch quickly obscured the view. I quickly learned that the left-hand bags fills first, follow by the right-hand bag. So the most effective way to judge when the bags are getting near full is to reach back with my right hand and feel the right bag. I could easily feel when the right-hand bag was near full on the fly using this technique.Read full review
