I just started my vegetable plants with 2 of these for my garden. I did use 2 clip on lights with 60 watt household led bulbs along with them just in case. I had sprouts within 2 or 3 days. The thing is the plants leaned toward these lights after they sprouted. I did replace the hangers that came with mine with chain so I can raise them up and down and had them a few inches above the soil at first. One light had a line of lights that at 1st wouldn't turn on but magically started working after using it a few days. The worst draw back of these lights is the cord barely plugs in them. I had to secure them to the lights with duct tape. There is no on/off switch so be ready to plug or unplug to turn them on or off. Don't hang them where the cord gets bumped or it will turn off. Overall I'm satisfied with my lights.Read full review

I use these lights in my Horticulture classroom in school everyday. They are reliable & long lasting! They yield plant growth results far better than florescent or other grow bulbs. They are reasonably priced. It's money well spent! I would recommend them. Thanks!
