Our dryer started squeeking unbelievably noisy! We tried lube such as oil and heavy oils. Ended up buying this hoping to fix the problem. Needless to say, the problem has been fixed for weeks. No issues what so ever. Easy fix too. Disconnect Power, Disconnect Gas and Vents, Unbolt 20 screws, loosen the tensioner, remove triangle washer and pulley, Replace, and Reinstall in Reverse order. BE SURE TO TAKE A PICTURE OF HOW BELT IS POSITIONED. I have good visual memory and putting the belt back in the right spot was somewhat of a brain teaser. Take a tip, and save some time, just take a quick pic so you know for sure! Better than replacing more parts and getting a headache.Our dryer started squeeking unbelievably noisy! The OEM engineers that designed this stupid pulley that goes out every 8 months should be fired. The value of the product is excellent though, providing multiple repair parts for future needs that will no doubt come.

My dryer was making a horrible amount of noise. I replaced the rollers first and it did not change. Replaced this part with the pulley and it sounds great now! No more having to wait till no one is home to hear it to do laundry!
