Came in handy when my original battery went dead.
It works but I'm glad I ordered two. It does not have the same energy reserve as the original Nikon camera. I only used one battery two times. But I will be going away for two weeks. Hopefully I get a much better idea how reliable the battery is.

Working great in my Nikon D5200 camera. Downside; tends not to be recognized by Pearstone Dual Charger. I have to put in another battery, and when it starts to charge, the quick switch with the Kastar battery(s). Charging then continues normally. An inconvenience, but I can handle that.
