This amp has exceeded my expectations. Everywhere you look online, it gets excellent reviews but I was never expecting so much from a $50 amp. I purchased it for my acoustic instruments and so far have tried it with an acoustic ukulele, acoustic mandolin, and electric guitar. If this helps anyone else looking to buy a cheap amp for acoustic instruments, this one works great. From my experience, the amp’s distortion feature worked a lot better while using the acoustic ukulele. It may have something to do with the type of pick-up used inside the ukulele. When I plugged the mandolin into the amp, it doesn’t get that same distortion you hear from many electric guitars, but definitely provides a huge boost in sound. I play regularly in a band and with large groups of people and this amp puts out the perfect amount of sound. Read full review

This amp exceeds my expectations....its actually larger than I thought it was going to be. I bought it as a gift for my son, And he loves it. I like the vintage look and it has the look and feel of a high quality amp. And it sounds good too. I recommend this to anyone who wants a starter amp or a small practice amp... A great value...
