A quick check with T-mobile shows that the phone is compatible and is not blocked from service, though a plan has yet to be purchased.Please be aware: the iphone 8/8 plus are no longer receiving updates, so if that's an issue for you, look into a newer phone. The one let down was that I was told the phone would have ‘at least 85% battery life’ under its advertised excellent conditions, but it had only 83%. I’m still keeping the device, but I reached out to the seller to point out this error for better accuracy in their descriptions the future. They reached back out and acknowledged it.
