This is a great size for a nursing home resident. The color and sound is good. My only complaint is that it is difficult to operate the DVD. You have to go in and select the DVD from the list and make the changes every time you use it. This is very difficult for a disabled person to do. For this reason I wished we would have selected a different model. Something to think about when you make a purchase like this.

While this TV has a builtin DVD, is light-weight and easy to use, the sound quality and amplitude is not good, especially playing DVD's -- the sound is barely audible even though I am sitting three feet from the screen at my desk. The picture quality is not good, even though it has several settings. I have six TV's around my home and office, all on most of the time... and relatively speaking, this TV is a disappointment... even at the price.

This is perfect for my boat... It can run off the boat batteries or from shore power. The built in speakers are not very loud, so I intend to replace my boat's stereo with one that has audio inputs, so I can pipe the TV audio through the boat speakers. The built in DVD player can play CDs, too, so the new stereo doesn't have to.

I purchased this TV to install in a camper. I had the 15" version in my previous camper for several years and was satisfied with that. I choose the 22" Supersonic because I am familiar with all the features. The screen is bigger and the sound better. Everything works as expected.

Nice Picture and Features but unfortunately audio was defective. (sound wouldn't come on for several minutes after turned on, then not at all). Returned set for a replacement... we'll see how it turns out.
