Set it and forget it!
Once I figured out which end was which and got this installed it has worked perfectly to meet my needs. This is one of those cases where the technology is simple and you don't need to pay the big bucks for an effective solution. We got a new TV for our bedroom and the IR sensor was badly placed for our dresser, so we used this to fix the problem and it worked perfectly.

Plugged it right into the USB on my cable box and worked right away. Have the boxes all hidden behind the TV now with just nothing but a little IR dongle on the bottom of the tv. Thanks!
