This a great, detailed model kit that I bought for my husband; however,... I found out that it is a rebox of the ITALERI 1/24 PETERBILT 378 LONG HAULER MODEL KIT which I could have purchased for less than half of the price of this kit. They only changed the decals. The scale is wrong in the listing. It is 1:24 scale not 1:25. The kit was reboxed by AMT originally to sell in the USA I think, so the added cost would make sense when adding in international shipping costs; but to buy it here in the UK is ridiculous to me now that I know... I ended up buying four upgrade kits with photoetched parts from Czech Truck Models for my husband as well, which I could have gotten anyway with the money I would have saved if I had only bought the Italeri kit instead. I am a bit gutted by this and will definitely do more research before I buy a kit for my husband again.Read full review
