dislike? none of it to dislike. john mayall is the forerunner of the blues from the european front. with the likes of eric clapton, mick taylor, and mick fleetwood all but a few of the accomplished and talented musicians to record with this phenomenom of the blues genre. "sonny boy blow", "please don't tell" and somebody broke your wings" are a few of the higher cuts on this one along with "down the line". turn up the volume and take a drive out in the open country when you listen to these....awesome. i have been following this musician's albums since i was in my twenty year old stage some nearly thirty five years ago. these musicians that stand in with him are all capable of the "wang-dang-doodle" all along. monte kennedy
The title is wrong for a start. No way is JM on his own. Recieved help from lots of musicians. I was expecting him to be strumming or bashing the keys and singing all on his own. Having said that, this is a fine album and fits in nicely in the remaining space on the CD shelf. Remember this is my opinion, not yours, before purchasing any music, you should at least attempt to listen to the album in question or other material by the artist.
