The album Back for the Attack is a classic. It shows Dokken at it's peak moments in my opinion. I like every song, every detail. As a guitar player, I must say that George Lynch used used all his resources on this album. A lot of unusual melodical singing passages, the sustainiac, complex and simple harmonies, tremolo tricks, taps, sparkling acoustic guitars, three dimensional reverbs, harmonics and lots of dynamics. There are not two songs alike. I highly recommend this album for guitar players looking for ideas and also non musicians that enjoy good hard rock with substance in the music and lyrics. It's a keeper. If you are not a Dokken fan yet, with this album, you will hit the ground running.
