    Hard Time Killin' Floor by Skip James

    Skip James was one of those American blues icons. I first heard his music from the film Ghost World. But then a couple of months ago Acoustic Guitar Magazine had the music transcribed with chords and I thought, "I could play that!" So I got the cd to practice. A word of warning to those who expect pristine sound quality, this record is from a time long ago, so the sound is not what we would consider optimal today. Having said that, when you hear Skip James sing it is to say the least, haunting. What are you waiting for, go buy it!
