This title is one of the best solo releases of: Halford (Rob) ex-singer of - Judas Priest. This is still hard to find especially on the original label outside of other businesses Kiosks. (Made for children). Resurrection has many good songs on it. So it - is - recommended. Good Solid Heavy Metal...you won't be disappointed. 👍💀👍🔨😁🔥

This was the beginning of Rob Halford's comeback. the title track starts the cd off with a fury. the album is strong until tracks 11 and 12. the highlight for me is the song "the one you love to hate" it's a duet with bruce dickinson of iron maiden!. there was a rumor of rob halford, bruce dickinson, and geoffe tate of queensryche making a cd called the three tremors that would have been a great cd!. anyways this cd is so much bette r than the fight project that rob halford did right after leaving judas priest, and let's not even mention the awful project called two, produced by trent reznor!when they said trent reznor was producing it i knew something was afoul!. on the cover cd halford wore black makeup uner his eyes,i heard 2 songs from it, it wasn't metal!. sorry folks but i am metal pure and true! don't care for alt-metal,rap metal,. i went off on a tangent, anyways if you are a judas priest fan pick this cd up!,don't bother with the second halford release called crucible,it's more like speed metal!!Read full review
I loved it as much when I rocked out with this disc some 17-18 years ago. A masterful LP indeed!

I was very happy to hear that this album is so much cooler than the cover implies. But as a Harley owner I do like the cover despite the cheese. It has become a classic image at this point. But on to the music. This album absolutely kicks ash. The songs are generally pop/blues structured heavy metal. Believe me it doesn't sound like anything except for real deal heavy metal. Classic jin-jin riffage, simple but awesome solos, top notch drumming with just the right amount of double bass, and of course really sick vocals of the highest order. What puts this album over the top with quality and awesomeness is the fact that the songs are good. I think the only one song even hinting towards a weak track would be "the one you love to hate" which I believe was actually a single off of the record. Every other song is magic. Real metal, no filler, just great.Read full review
