Most actors turned singers stink, just as most singers turned actors stink. The other half of Pinkett-Smith is as comfortable as her husband making music. Not the most logical choice for a rappers wife I'll grant you but, a good one none the less.

Wicked Wisdom is a band that has become famous very fast, with their appearance in Ozzfest 2005, and their self titled album in 2006. They are not like other metal bands, Jada and Wicked Wisdom create their own type of music on their CD, with "Something Inside Of Me", "You can't handle" Bleed all over me" and "One". They have become one of my favorite bands and this album is one of my most played. If you like hardcore metal I would suggest you get this album!
Bad Brains, Selector, The Specials, The Busboys, Fishbone, TTD - These were the last groups of the genre I'd actively followed. For more than a decade sticking with Jazz, Blues and "traditional" musics (won't say "world") Wicked Wisdom is on par with all of these bands with their own flavor. The bum rap from folks who haven't even heard or seen them is typical. The drummer/founder of Fishbone is so skillful he could play with any legend in jazz. Jada can BLOW; artist sensibility, own voice, method, excellent lyricist and she can GROWL. The guitarists and bassist are fantastic. The percussive drive and melodic noise of this band give them their own place in the diasporic sun.
