A good experience with Qi Gong
The fire and water dvd was about what I expected to see. I have been doing Tia Chi for 6 months prior to buying this dvd and wanted to do some of the Qi Gong practice. There were some challenges in it and I am glad they had some more difficult poses in there. The only negative I had was that in between poses, or exercise, there was too much time with the naming of each pose or exercise, before going on to the next one. I developed an inbetween exercise to keep things flowing. I can only compare this to the Tia Chi DVDS I have and although I like both, the Tia Chi dvd flows from one exercise to the next much better. Yes I would recomend this dvd. It is still a good one and once you learn the exercises like I have you can put them together in a smooth flowing sequence of your own or work ... Good for Exercise
It's more exercise than instruction. Any instruction is integrated with the exerises and not--as is the case with many other Tai Chi DVDs--a separate presentation. It's the same format as the other Cohen DVDs.

Great introduction to Qi Gong
I started Qi Gong with a very simple workout with no leg movement whatsoever. I added a beginner Tai Chi workout shortly after. I like this Qi Gong video because it works out both the upper and lower body. I especially like the fact that the spoken voice mirrors the movement. You can also turn of the voice once you learn the moves. There are two workouts about 35 minutes each. I suppose you should do the Fire workout in the morning and the Water workout in the evening. If the moves are too difficult (and some are for me) than adjust them to fit your comfort level. Relaxing and energizing at the same time!
Nice background scenery with slow and clear directions to follow Qi Gong meditation practice. The CD is segmented and affers a variety of practice. Namaste!

Although beautiful scenery and music, the moves are for the more advanced Qigong player- not for beginners which I am, so at this time it is not easy for me to use this video.
