It is rare to hear a remastered album for cd that doesn't leaves you scratching your head and your ears bleeding. This cd is not one of them. Peter Greens 1979 album "In The Skies" is an often forgotten about gem in a very troubled history of a man who's guitar and vocal expression was only sadly, at times, overshadowed by personal issues and rumor. This album is simply one to remind us of the Green God's hypnotic power. and his often bittersweet delivery, but ultimately is one that begs many listens, as it never grows tiresome, at least in my experience. I attribute that quality, not only to Peters talents and those with whom he collaborated with, but also the mastering, or remastering in this case by the Sanctuary/Castle label. It is nothing short of intoxicating.
