I do like the husqvarna chainsaws. My opinion is husqvarna and stihl are the top brand chain saws and I have picked husqvarna and have not had many complaints about them. The only thing is that I am told that some of the husqvarna chainsaws are starting to be made with a plastic casing, not the cast aluminum as the older ones were made so I'm going after a couple older saws. It might be the smaller saws that are being made cheaper because I see a lot of 455 and smaller saws for sale that were rebuilt or totally blown up, junk, At least I do hope their bigger saws arn't made cheaper. The same thing will happen to them as happened to winchester.
Extremely hard to start. The front bar bo;t is stripped. There is one chqain guide plate missing. The holder shim was put in wrong in the brake cover so it won't let ther bar to come in contact with the oiler hole -so it won't oil the bar properly. It has a definite miss when the saw is under power. The person that sold me this saw didn't describe all these faults. I cut firewood for a living and was spending on this saw to get me out of a emergency situation and it didn't I wasn't the $200.00 I should have known better.
I got the saw in a short time. The saw runs great and cuts wood better. I am very pleased with how this saw looks and runs. It will cut a 20 inch log and never stall. Great buy and greatly pleased with it. I have cut 5 to 6 trees with it and it starts easlily usually on the first or second pull.
So far doing fine
