This one was never used purchased for my collection only, How ever I have others and have used Homelite chainsaws all my 66 years of life, My dad used many brands of saws until finally switching to Homelite, best saws on the market back then, they were so much superior to all of the others he owned over the years! We cut wood for our heat back then. The 330 is a very good looking and operating saw, sometimes wish they were still being made. Now they are mostly a hobby of my retirement years and a great piece of history. Easy to restore and most parts still available! Lots of memories and hours of use, will always be part of my past life experiences not to be forgotten soon!
Dear Sir, I have had the chainsaw now for a couple of weeks and after sending away for some parts I now have it running great, The rubber boot under the carb was deteriorated and needed to be replaced and the carb needed to be rebuilt. I took it all the way apart cleaned every bit of it and it looks and runs like new. Thank you for it.

All in all not a bad all around saw. they seem to work best with a 16-18" bar .when I first started working on them I hated them but after 5-6 saw there was nothing to them. intake boots need replacing quite often. recoil starter system is a little troublesome if you don't keep it serviced. keep the sawdust out of the oil tank and you won't have oil pump problems. their pretty much like any other saw if you don't clean and service it regularly your going to have problems.
Great saw, will hold its own with a 20" bar and chain.
