I had my doubts about this being battery but it was DeWalt so I bought it. Best thing I ever did. For what I do with it the thing went beyond my expectations. I’m not sure if there are any negatives out there but if so there not using it for the right reason. The battery last a long time, it’s not very loud and it’s much quicker to come back up than my small plugin I have and will retain higher pressure! For someone who needs a compressor that is very portable and your pumping up tires or your running small tools like a staple gun or nailer this thing is perfect. I can even run my paint touch up gun with it and it’s battery, no wires! I have a lot of DeWalt tools and this one is right there with the rest, the best!!!

Could use a bigger tank making it able to do bigger jos. Is ideal for trimming out a house where you are not constantly nailing. It gets about 12 to 14 shots before kicking on so roofing or sheeting would work it to death.Very easy to handle and store and ideal for smaller jobs. I love it!!!
