Extreme Terminator... If Kirk had this, he could have got Warp 10 easy. Charge quickly . Best part, reload trimmer. Just slip it in approx 10-14 ft and wind it up. Shwing! and no Miss. It's a Home Run!!!

I was considering laying down $500 plus over the next year buying Stihl power head and a just one attachment, but I had my daughters buy Ryobi's leaf blower for Fathers Day. I loved it. No more gas or electric cords. I didn't realize Ryobi made this power head that takes the same battery as the leaf blower, plus I already had an edging attachment from a Poulan Pro unit that I purchased years ago. So I now have 2 batteries and 2 charging units. Thinking about their tree trimming attachment for next year. We'll see how the motor holds up over time. On a full charge, the weed whacker ran for 20-30 minutes. More than enough time to do the whole yard.

Only tested it so far but seems good,One problem the instructions for the trimmer attachment was for the wrong model

It cuts great. Maybe not as powerful as a gas trimmer but much better than previous 18v Ryobi that I have. Takes a second to "wind up" but it does the job. Would reccomend for sure.

I have a 40-Volt trimmer with the power head in the bottom and I purchased the 40-Volt trimmer in the handle. The difference is that the power in the handle model works with several different options for the bottom such as a edger. It has plenty of power to handle the new heads with larger line, i.e., 0.085 and 0.090. I love it!
