First glance at screen you notice that oled 1440p screen looks very sharp and detailed. The bottom firing speaker is decent and has plenty volume. I would like to see two speakers on the phone but it's not a deal breaker. The device is very light, fits in hand well. Has a head phone jack with a built in dac for good sound to your head phones. Really nice to see this feature along with a micro SD card for extra storage. Battery life is good not the best compared to other devices but nice to see the quick charging as well as the qi wireless charging. Recommend this to someone wanting something close to a flagship device without paying the price of one.

First, you have to understand I am migrating from a Windows phone which was as good as the version of android I came from. The LG V30 has a considerably newer version of android that I am very pleased with. I don't have coverage by my cell company at my house and the android lets me make calls through my internet connection. Yes, I am looking at options at changing my service. It is difficult when cell service only cost $100/year. Tmobile. the phone: It is small and light, the screen is bright enough in daylight. It is intuitive, it doesn't receive as well as the Windows phone, it is close though. It charges fast, the buttons are in convenient locations, the front facing camera is not really in a position so I can cover it with tape or sticky note, etc. The processor is fast, the memory has lots of storage. The camera is not intuitive at all and requires some study to figure out what I did wrong. OOPS. It takes good pictures. When I need to use it I turn it on. It does what I need it to doRead full review

This phone is awesome. Very fast processor which makes running apps even multiple ones very silky smooth without any lags. The camera is very good, look at reviews of this camera especially the one in YouTube "V30 vs Red Weapon" and be blown away by the camera. Battery life is the best I've had in any Android phone I tried (Moto line, Nexus).

UPDATE Dec 2020...Sorry, I did not remember posting the Ap 2019 comments. By Nov of 2019, after reading a hundred+ suggestions, I came across someone who had reset their Honda car screen. I tried that and VIOLA!. The LG V30 connected easily with the car via Android Auto. Between April 2019 and Nov 2019, I used an old iPhone 6s that worked with the Honda. So, I updated the 4 stars to 5 stars. ORIG APRIL 2019: The LG V30 was clean and except for a very minor, barely visible hair line on the back, it is just like a new phone. The only caveat is that it did not come with a charging cord, and currently, after trying 5 different cords, I have not found one that connects the phone to Android Auto, so that the maps display on-screen. So, I don't know if the problem is finding the right cord, or the OS, or the phone itself. That is why I could not give it a 5 star, as much as I'd like to. The phone, with Android 8, is incredibly versitile, with a very sharp screen, fast operation, and easy casting to TV. Read full review

For the price this phone is more than I expected. This is still a very good phone even though it is almost 2 years since release. I purchased an excellent condition phone and it is brand new. Not a scratch. Battery life is good too. Coming from a G4 with a yellowlemon battery in it I was concerner but I get almost 2 days out of a full charge with frequent use. Just about everytning loads and snaps fast. Awesome purchase.
