I got this so I could have fun in the house and around the back yard. This thing is unbreakable! And flys great indoor and out without much wind. The price makes it even better! Great purchase would buy 10 more if need be lol. Everyone complains about the canopy not fitting but really there's just a technique to it and once you get a hang of it there's no issues. If your thinking of getting one just do it, click buy and you wont be disappointed!

I’ve been flying RC for over 32 years. I have flown just about everything on the market. No exaggeration. This is Heli is a great disappointment. Quickly I realize this isn’t even a product made by blade/eflite/Horizon. Quality of construction is sketchy at best. Flight performance is extremely poor. I could imagine this would discourage new pilots for sure. Even with some basic mods the bird has a zero return value. As in I have no reason to fly it. It’s not entertaining and not suitable for proper instruction. Horizon continues its fall from grace In the eyes of experienced modelers with offering mostly foam In the fixed wing arena and cheap quality rebranded products in the helicopter and multi copter arena.

Really good beginner heli for the money. This is my second Blade heli and I am very happy with it. It comes with a spare set of main blades, which is great - but I would suggest buying a spare swashplate and spare canopy mounts, as these both broke within 10 flights and some light to moderate crashes. Forget flying it outdoors, the lightest of wind will send it off into the distance!

This helicopter is actually a rebranded esky 150v2. It seems to be durable but I found the flight characteristics to be disappointing. It’s heavy for its size and the throttle response has a slight delay. This makes it hard to change altitude without overshooting. The rudder control has a large dead-band. This means that small rudder inputs don’t do anything. Since the radio is not adjustable or Spektrum compatible (like authentic Horizon Hobby models) there’s no way adjust the way it flies. The battery installation was also difficult for me. The canopy needs to be removed to install the battery before every flight. It’s tiny and fussy to get back on. All of the real Horizon Hobby micro helicopters have a slot to slide the battery in without any disassembly. People singing the praises of this helicopter must either be getting a kickback or they haven’t ever flown anything good. I decided to get rid of My 70s and buy a bunch of NOS parts for my 10 year old gen1 Blade msr. The msr has plenty of flaws but its still a much better flyer. I would recommend save your money or buy from esky for $20 less. Read full review

Fun little heli (actually tiny) to fly indoors or out but only an calm days when outside, any breeze and will it take you places you don’t want to go. This thing is durable I’ve beat it up and it still looks great and fly’s great. I’ve been flying fly-bar heli’s for a while and this one beats them all hands down for ease of flight and getting used to an RC heli. The only negatives are you have to remove the canopy to change the battery and the Velcro for the battery is not that strong. A couple of good hard bumps and the battery is loose under the canopy. If you just learning to fly you’ll get close to five minutes of flight out of a battery. If you’ve got experience and your easy on the controls fly time will stretch a couple of minutes longer to about seven minutes.
