Microsoft offers for free with this pen, Onenote which is compatible with all of Microsoft's Office programs including Excel and Word, even publisher (for those creative folks). With its' easy to use one click action button, the surface immediately responds to the Onenote command, with out have to search though any additional panels to find what you want. Couple MS OFFICE with Adobe's sign and write PDF Reader, and you can make any pregenerated document "writeable". (Additional cost from Adobe, but well worth it, to be able to fill out forms away from a desk and office enviroment). My only gripe, it that it doesn't have some attachment feature with the Surface Pro series, until you upgrade to the Surface book, which is a very big difference in initial cost.Read full review

This stylus pen, is MUCH better than the original surface stylus. The only perk it has is that it doesn´t has a clip and is a little short. But besides that, is much better because it never disconnects, you just need to pair it once. With the original surface stylus, sometimes it gets disconnected and it is very disappointing. Also, the buttons are less susceptible to be press without wanting to do it on purpose. The four stars is because it doesn´t have a clip and that it´s a little short (4.5 inches) for my hand.
