This router pack has pretty much everything you need except bits and jigs. Great quality, very good price, fixed and plunge bases, variable speed, two collet sizes (included), spindle lock, rapid and continuously adjustable bit depth of cut. Heavy duty blow-molded carry case. What more could you want?

It is a high quality product. However, if a buyer is intending to mount this router onto a router table, the bolt holes for attaching this router to my table do not match. I then did an internet search to find a DeWalt router table. I could not find any router table manufactured by DeWalt. Of course, like so many products, there is no standard bolt pattern that all router manufacturers are required to use. I was left with no other options but to go through the tedious process of trying to return the router.

This thing is a beast. Pushes a 3/4" tool through hardwood like it's not even there. Soft start keeps it from jumping out of your hands on startup, and the variable speed keeps the burning under control with large tools. Haven't used the plunge base yet, but the way the fixed base works, changeover should take less than a minute. Overall I'm quite happy with the tool at the price I paid for it.
