Oculus Quest VR Headsets

If you do not have a vr ready graphics card in your computer then get this. Also do not do any rollercoaster vr you will get motion sickness. Also what i did to salve motion sickness was drink canada dry ginger ale all the time. This helps stop motion sickness also if you feel the sweats coming on remove some clothing to cool off or wear shorts and no shirt and turn on ac. Also games like journey if the gods can give a bit of motion sickness. Just continue to drink ginger ale. Also get a battery pack type c port and velcro and velcro a power bank to the back with a type c to type a usb cord to charge the oculus quest while you play so the main batter last longer. Also buy rechargeable AA batteries because the controllers take AA batteries 1 battery in each controller. Also have good lightning for the controllers to have good tracking. The most fun games for me is vader immortal 3 in the dojo section and space pirate trainer. Journey of the gods is unique and awesome. Also the wizards is awesome game with magical powers you can upgrade. The fps is fine. The games make the graphics most of the time. It is not really the. R headset because i was looking at oculus quest vs valve index and oculus rift and i cant really see any terrible graphics unless the game itself is just not made from awesome rendering software. Awesome and fun, I bought this mainly to play Beat Saber like about 4 million other folks. But have discovered there is much more in VR that I am interested in. The video is stunning and you can really get lost in the VR world that you create. Super easy to set up and has both a roomscale ( body movement) setting as well as a Standing (non body movment) setting for the guardian. The only thing I can say is there is considerable lag when using the phone to cast to from the Oculus Quest. The lag is much less noticible on the 4K Chromecast but it is still there. I would estimate approximately 1 second of lag and that is with the Quest within 5 ft of the Chromecast. there are also a few freezes although they are very short when using the Chromecast. the freezes on the phone are much more prevalent..

The Oculus is quite different than any other console, so the novelty alone is enticing. Once the machine is running, you are transported to a brand new reality, which is incredible. The visuals are solid although the resolution is nowhere near the Sony PS4 Pro (4K), but again, it is a completely different animal. The controls are intuitive, and the game play is smooth. My kids were so excited to try it, and they played it consistently for about two weeks. After that, it began collecting dust. Why? Not sure. Maybe the "isolation" of playing alone got boring. When you play, you are completely separated from everyone else, so it's difficult to share in the joy of the conquest. While the Oculus is nicely built and high quality, the price was not worth the investment.

Oculus Quest is by far the most fun and entertainment for my entire family to enjoy in the home, and on the go. The imagery is amazing and the games never cost more than $30. If you want to have some fun on an entirely different level, purchase the Quest and I guarantee you will be amazed at how much fun it is not only to play VR games, but also to watch a movie, enjoy various VR adventures, browse the web and feel like you are on another planet while doing so, as well as a host of other features that I still have yet to explore in VR.

I have played on nearly every platform and none of them have been as fun to play as this VR headset. It is a completely different experience playing on this thing. I have been able to introduce many friends and family into gaming because of this device. My grandpa who doesnt ever play games was having so much fun boxing in thrill of the fight. My sister who has played maybe 2 hours of video games in her life, asks to play beat saber whenever she gets home from school almost every day. I am so happy with this product and look forward to the advancements in VR coming soon.

As of May 2020, the Oculus Quest is the best value and most versatile VR headset on the market. It works standalone for its own very wide array of apps and games, has inside out tracking that doesn't require external sensors, and works perfectly as a PC VR system when plugged into a compatible USB port with compatible high quality USB cable. Half the cost of an Index with almost all of the features, and access to the same library of games if not a larger one.

Really good quality - great and immersive VR experience - definitely go with the 128GB size since the apps are not getting smaller. I was surprised at the amount of content being produced that is compatible with this version of the headset. My only caution is to be take the motion sickness warnings SERIOUSLY. Once you lose your balance and crash into a wall, coffee table or floor, the device can break pretty easily.

Never owned a VR, but omg is it cool as heck. I bought it used, original charger, oculus brand case and some Headwear replacements. It looks awesome, works for the few minutes I used it as it's charging right now but turned it on and made an account. Controllers work good. I couldn't love it more.

Coming from a Rift cv1, not a huge difference in tracking from a for sensor setup, I can't do things out of view but I never did anyways. Visual fidelity is nice with the resolution bump. And only needing one cable for Oculus link is great.

The cable is undoubtedly of high quality, but in my opinion, an unreasonably high price. Unfortunately, it has not yet been possible to compare with cheaper counterparts.
