I really like the way this thing is solidly built with a metal cabinet. It has a large display and is very quiet! It is Ali printed one of the included model files & I have built some nice examples of intricate parts. However the instructions were limited and it took me sometime to work out the subtleties of the software. These Were left out at the instructions. (And the only reason I took away one star). Software is tedious but does work. You will have to throw away everything you know about setting up Prints for a standard 3D printing machine. Any pieces may have to be divided and oriented in such a way to allow them to hang into the resin Vat correctly. Your prints will fail---if you do not save the files correctly on your hard drive. Best thing to do is create a 3D printing folder, then create a subfolder for ~.CWS files. This printer will print .CWS files once they are stored on its own drive that plugs into the back of the machine. I like this feature because my computer doesn't like to run constantly. P.S. constantly running your hard drive will lower the lifespan of your computer dramatically. Most importantly is once you set up your STL file on creation software you then save it to your folder as CWS then slice it then you can save it as the same name and replace it in this folder. Very important! You must copy and paste it from this folder tl once it has been saved eject this drive and then plug it into the back of your machine. Even though they include a nice thumb drive with lighting to let you know when it is working, it is always best practice to touch something metal with both hands to ensure you do not have a static charge any time you handle a drive or memory card. I have to include that this is not for beginners nor is it for those who cannot be careful when handling chemicals. If you're not willing to wear safety goggles and gloves and open a window you should not mess with this type of printing. One drop of resin in your eye will blind you one drop of resin ingested into your system will likely kill you (eventually). However I must note that it lost its smell over time and there are other reasons available that are more biodegradable but you still must wear safety gear. However those who have care and patience and have worked with chemicals before this is an awesome alternative to recreating objects using a mold making process in order to utilize resin if your specific needs call for it. This is a value because it includes risen and you will want to experience meant with low priced resins in the beginning because they can be a little expensive. And various very little information on orienting and preparing your parts for print in order to save resin. And another important note is that it's tricky to get parts to stick to the aluminum base. I have to brush resin on to the aluminum and then sure that with my UV light before I put it back on the machine and level the build plate. This works phenomenally well however removal changes things and sometimes I have to patch the areas that I remove my part from. when hatching you must also could have super thin coat of resin along the other parts of the table that have cured resin left over in order to make it sticky again. If your print fails you have to strain the resin to remove pieces or your print will fail. So you will spend much time handling these parts a meticulously clean way. Because you cannot have resin cure parts of the build a simile in such a way that they may get stuck on your screws or create fine particles that could fall into your vat. For my needs this will be a perfect companion for my standard 3D printer (s). And will add fine details.Read full review
