I purchased "Law & Order: Season 1" for my girlfriend for her birthday. I had watched the show for many years with my grandfather and knew the material pretty well. At least I thought I did. After watching some of the special features (which are limited) I realized that this show really did change prime-time network television. I also never realized how artistically driven the writing and production crew were when they filmed and edited the show. This DVD set really opened my eyes to modern art, masked as cop drama. I did feel as though there were not that many special features, but this set was produced in 2001. Thanks, ERJ
I love Law and Order. It is such a great show. I think it is special and grand. I think everyone should watch that show because it is so great. Sometimes I like to through Law and Order parties with my friend. We all gather in my TV room to watch hours upon hours of the spectacle that is Law and Order. Sometimes we order hot wings and soda for our parties. But most of the time enjoy lots of cake for our Law and Order viewing. My friend Tad will often write short stories based on the characters from this wonderful program. Anyway, gotta get back to watching my favorite show Law and Order.

It is awesome going back and watching these older episodes, to view how it all began! On TNT, all you see are repeats, repeasts, and more repeats from the late 90's, therefore I decided to buy this set. No regrets, although a couple of the first few episodes are a bit disconnected, you can quickly see how Dick Wolf gets it all together just about 1/4 into the first season. Chris Noth is also enjoyable to watch in his early days! Highly recommend for Law & Order enthusiasts!
