    Was a peace of junk

    What a peace of junk. I have installed many ceiling fans professionally for years. We liked the look of this hunter fan. So we got it for our home it was a great price. PROBLEMS the fan blade brackets rubbed against the upper fan housing so tight that they could not move! Ok I made spacers to give room for them to move. Then motor rubbed against the upper housing even without the blades installed! AND the motor hummed loudly! Packed everything up an sent it back. Don’t by this model hunter fan.

    Junk

    I bought this model fan and put it up in my bedroom . Worked great for about a year . First thing that happened is the globe fell out of the light kit and shattered on the floor because apparently this fan had a recall where this has happened before . I haven't been able to find another glove for it . Now the fan just shuts itself off . I can turn the wall switch off wait a few seconds then back on and it will reset itself run for while then shut off again. I'm guessing something to do with the remote sensor . It's getting taken down and a different fan put up . My recommendation is do not buy this fan

    I got one and liked it so much i ordered 2 more

    I love the remote the look and how easy the install was.I had to add a washer behind the metal fan mount for them to clear the housing

    Hunter 54" Contemporary Ceilng Fan.

    This is a nice fan. It looks Great and puts out some air and good light. Hunter has always been my choice because they put out Great fans. I have never had a problem.
