    Chalky, flyaway color.

    Sadly, this shadow has an appalling scarcity of pigment. When you swatch the black it goes on patchily as a very very sheer, grayish color. The blue and the green aren’t much better, I suppose if you put on a primer and laid it on really thick you may get some color, I haven’t tried that yet. Disappointing for the NARS brand to put out something of such dubious quality.

    Great Collectable!

    I bought this little palette as a collectable. The other reviewer needs to take into account that this Nars Andy Warhol Collection came out in 2012. Even if it hasn't been opened yet, 2012 is a long time ago and even powders get old or chalky. They aren't dangerous, but I wouldn't expect them to be the same quality as a shadow bought at Sephora this week. The colors are vibrant and the picture in the compact is too beautiful to ruin by using the 9 year old shadow anyway. I'm finishing my collection. It's so pretty and exciting to get it all. Please don't let that other review turn you off, and remember, powder eyeshadow doesn't have an infinite shelf life.
