Pheromones add to the seduction. It's the animalistic or baser instinct in us all. Back in the early millennium I sold this product and listen to the raves of my customers about how well it worked how beautiful the scent was and how you could put the fragrance of your choice on top of it and it could still keep its potency. It's relatively inexpensive for the product that you get.

I was hoping this was actually lightly scented. I do not find it overwhelming, but not tolerable for me. If you like patchouli, you may like this scent. I will say one side did smell better than the other. One I liked the other I could not stand. I wore it a few times, but did not notice if it worked and in the end, did not care because I kept getting a whiff and didn't like it myself. I bought the small packet versions of Pure Instinct for her, Pure Instinct for him, and also the True Blue (which is the original) only because I love True Blue that much. This is because True Blue is the one that is identical to Basic Instinct by P/R, which I also use ALL the time. I kind of switch off between Pure and Basic Instinct. Pure when I'm looking to save money, Basic when I'm wanting the O.G. Anyway, I got curious about these two, For Her and For Him, because of my love for True Blue; since I've never seen these two before and they are newer. Let me just save you the trouble: They are NOTHING and I mean NOTHING like the original. So don't do what I did and buy them only because you like the original and want to give them a try too. The only way I can explain them, is not only do ... I thought maybe--and idk why, looking back--that For Her might be even more similar to PR's Basic Instinct than True Blue, because it's a pink bottle just like Basic Instinct. Wrong! I was baffled when I tore open, first, For Her; then For Him. They are so overwhelming to me. It is an actual perfume in an oil form. A strong one. The only thing I can personally compare the smell to is those Calgon body sprays. If you like that, go for it! If you are looking for more of a perfume-y strong type of oil, this would be for you. The only thing I can compare the For Him to, would be Adidas for men. The For Him smells better than For Her to me though...crazy enough. Its less overwhelming. I may even wear it to use it up! I am actually going to use up both packets, as I paid for them and am cheap, but I can't tell you how glad I am that I trusted my instincts (no pun intended) and read reviews; which led me to not buy the full size. It would have been a waste. I still wish I would have listened even more, however, to the reviews though. Especially about it being nothing like True Blue. Even still, I needed to know for myself what they smelled like I guess. Lol. Since I loved the company so much. I would def suggest buying the cheap packets to try first, if you're like me and must know for yourself. This is not for me. I am going to stick with True Blue. The wondering was kind of fun, wondering what their newer versions would be like, wondering if the pink would smell like PR's Basic Instinct...but they're just not for me. I am still going to give it 3 stars because in my eyes they are a great value, and high quality, like True Blue; due to the company themselves being great. Just not the smell I am looking for.

Used to have it back in the day but recently bought it to improve my mood and boost confidence and boy, is it working, I’m addicted to it and apply it several times a day, even though I probably only need to apply once. Not the scent I’m used to.
I was excited to have purchased 4 of these perfumes/oils. I pulled one out of the package and immediately applied. It was then I realized it was a deep musky scent that does not smell good on my skin. The scent I am familiar with and have used in the past is much sweeter. I asked to return the product but my request was denied. I am now stuck with 4 bottles of oil/perfume that I will never wear. I was excited to have purchased 4 of these perfumes/oils.
