Maybe the price for reader with such functionality (built-in backlight, wi-fi, accept a bunch of file types). Very good assembly quality, nice materials. High contrast E-Ink display. Not of the last generation, but one of the best models.

This ereader is a big improvement over my older Kobo ereader. It has a good touchscreen - a big plus from my old one. The screen is easy to read, and you can adjust the brightness. It holds more books than I could possibly read, and while I haven't tested how long the battery lasts, it hasn't been troubling (supposed to last for a week or more!) The case is fabulous - it has a magnetic closure that puts the reader in or out of sleep mode when you close or open it. The size is nice - not too big to make it difficult to carry. I highly recommend it.

It's hard to type in letters, especially on the left hand side of the screen. You need to do this to sign up for Overdrive and synch it to your other devices. The overdrive search is slow and clumsy. Easier to find a book on your computer or phone, then download it or synch it.
