For the price, this is a really good helicopter. I fly other hobby helicopters, such as T-Rex 450's and a 500, but wanted something small for the backyard and parks, and that was simple to maintain (and also just for fun while the bigger batteries are charging). And while it can't do inverted, I still have fun with it and have thought this may be a good platform for a scale fuselage since it can't do 3D, but is very stable. Pros: 2.4ghz, full size transmitter with nice LCD screen. flies really stable. parts are cheap and easy to find, and is built well. It uses Li-Po battery. This would be great for beginners, and is way nicer than the hobby grade ones from back in the day that I tried to learned on. Li-Po battery can be charged on any regular Li-Po charger as it has regular jack connectors and balance plug. Helicopter is large enough to be seen and will fight some wind, but small enough that it won't do any real damage either. The rudder/gyro works really well. Overall, an excellent RC Helicopter for the beginner or the advanced flyer.Read full review

Just started flying Heli's and Im really impressed with this one. Its almost too fast. I rarely put it into H mode. Easy to fly, challenge to fully harness, and has some attachments u can order like a bubble blower, water gun, camera, etc. Seems durable(as I have crashed several times at high speed into trees:)

This is a large enough chopper that my daughter has not been allowed to fly it much in the house. It seems to provide her lots of fun however.
