Great camera. I had the X100S and mistakenly sold it, a while back. Love the Fuji color and subject definition. Having used the X100F for a couple of weeks now here are some of my observations. 1. Great portability. However, adding the JJC lens hood (I added the hood and a B+W UV filter) and this makes quite a difference in the size of the camera. I also purchased a Crumpler 3 million dollar home bag and the camera is a very tight fit w/lens hood on. You will need a larger bag, in MHO. 2. Image quality is superb, you just need to be mindful that there is no stabilization. 3. No weather sealing is a miss by Fuji for sure. 4. I added a Lensmate thumb grip. I researched many thumb grips and the Lensmate, while more expensive, allows it to be folded during use so you have access to the AEL/FL button. An absolutely essential addition to camera control. 5. Additionally, I purchased a soft shutter button from Lensmate as well and again this piece is very important for my control and ease of use. 6. Not for sports photography! All 10 of my grandkids play sports and I use my Olympus OM D M-5Mk2 for their sports photos. 7. Cropping pictures in general seems to be viable for enlarging subjects w/o much if any degradation in photo. 8.Use of the EVF in bright sun light can be difficult as your eye placement on the finder is easily washed out by son and reflection and the EVF display goes away. Simply need to be aware. problem. 9. Picture film options are numerous and excellent. 10. Not a fan of plastic battery/SD covers but, oh well. 11. Customization options is excellent. 12. Appears to be solidly well built and is substantial. As I am now in my 70's I (like many others) wanted a good travel camera with excellent IQ. Sorry for the length of this review and hope it helps. Cheers!Read full review

I wish I had bought this camera sooner. I have really enjoyed it so far. I love how compact and lightweight it is. Fits in most my pockets. Even though this is their best X100 series sensor on the same lens that was on the first X100, sharpness hasn’t really been an issue for me (x100V has the newest lens). Low light performance is really good as well. So far the only “issue” I have is that I like to use the as-is film recipes that come with the camera (particularly the B&W ones). But I also have enjoyed using custom ones other people make (i.e. I have a Ultramax 400 simulation). The downside is, if you use all 7 custom slots, you can’t access the base presets unless you do it by manually setting all the settings to “0.” It’s a huge inconvenience. Essentially you get 6 custom slots instead of 7. I did just use it in moderate snowfall and it didn’t have issue with the lack of weather proofing, so it can at least withstand some exposure to moisture. And if I were to nitpick it, having either an aftermarket thumb grip for the hot shoe/a neck or wrist strap is essential. Holding the camera in hand for long durations is not super ergonomic.Read full review

Super-compact, high-performance camera. Excellent EVF, quiet shutter, great image quality. Not cheap, but a good camera for everyday use if you can get the $ together for one.
