I like the fact that it came in its own box. The magnetic strip is a huge plus! keeps the cutting edges separate and easy to identify for your job. For the use of the handles, I like the way each one has its own spot. Because they are so incredibly sharp, this helps in picking up the tool without getting cut. Did I mention I like the box. Easy to spot on a shelf or drawer. Keeps them arranged and clean. I can't think of anything bad about this product. Can be used for many, many projects.

I owned a this exact set when I was growing up, and when I got this one, I was a bit dissappointed. It is still good, and acceptable, but gone is the sturdy, firm handles, replaced by cheaper plastic and thinner aluminum, finishes are not as good, etc. I guess you can call it progress?, I think that it could be called survival. I am sure these things were done not to increase profits, but rather to be able to survive the rising costs of production, labor, etc. Overall, a nice good set of razor blades. If I never had a set of the Old Originals, I would have a much more positive review.

Good quality. I bought a knock off version of this set. The blades would not stay in the tools because the internal clamps in the blade holding tools are made of plastic. The genuine X-ACTO clamps are made of aluminum and hold the blades much tighter. The blade quality is also much better than the knock off. You can also buy replacement blades as they all have a part number stamped on them.This was an exceptional value. I saw this very set at Michael's for $36.00. Very Happy!
