My dogs didn't like it and I was surprised because I mistakenly thought the first ingredient was meat in this premium priced dog food. I found that actual meat is nowhere in the ingredients. "Meat meal" is ground up hair and such mixed with fat to make it taste good, not the same as muscle meat and not what a human would consider fit for consumption. Adding an undisclosed 25%-of-the-product "sales tax on free shipping" by the foreign Amazon drop shipper made this bargain purchase expensive.

Diamond Naturals is very good well balanced food. The breeders of our purebred shepards use it and we have had 3 wonderful healthy dogs that have spent thiers lives eating it. The price is great much cheaper than any in-store prices I have seen from The "Big Box pet stores. shipping to my house is a huge help.
