The Google pixel 4 xl is a sadly underated phone. Critics and tech reviewers bash this phone for bad battery (which is a problem I'm not experiencing at all), not having a wide angle lens(which is not really that nessesary and still take some of if not the best photos from a phone) and the new gesture features being gimmicky (ok hand gestures not perfect but ok but the face unlock is). Everything this phone does wrong is shortly fixed with updates through their software. The phone fills like it's alive and know you. The user experience is the best you can get on Android with the fastest and best updates. Google makes Android and they are the best at using it.

The pixel series phones have a great advantage over other manufacturers because it is pure android, and so many features such as Google voice assistant and other integrations work so well with this phone. I test devices for a living and I will probably always have at least a pixel and an iPhone with me.

Probably one of the best phones I've ever owned. Newer software and hardware with no gay hole punch or screen notch. I love phones with bezels but none of the new ones have it. Not crazy about facial recognition - mask is an issue. Going from android 8 to 11 is my biggest hurdle. There are a lot more set up options for everything. Been fun going through them. All the Google assistant ops are fun. Really great speed. Once I'm comfortable with it I'm sure I'll love it.
