In these dark times of pandemic, riots, looting, ignorance, and strife a small sampling of joy can bring light to an otherwise dark place. This LEGO set did just that. Through the infinite magic of LEGO, this set made the day of its new 41 year old male owner so much brighter. Though it took literal hours to set up, through arduous and painful at times, this set brought my mind back to a place of innocence and joy. Long forgotten was this childhood joy, this experience of a simpler time. The LEGO set brought it back to me with full force. It taught me that I need not be saddened by the events of today. I need not be depressed while watching the news hoping for a glimmer of kindness in this otherwise troubled world. For there shall always be LEGO.
