It's like someone bought a particularly cheap plastic lightsaber hilt from China, spraypainted the metallic bits on, and handed it off to their five year old to paint on the delicate work like wiring and bolts as they put together an LED assembly to put so far down into the hilt that it barely functions. The cross-guard blades neither retract nor illuminate, and the main blade is very loose, so the only saving grace of this product (the belt clip) is pointless. In short, the $10 lightsaber I bought at Walmart is a better deal than this thing.

The first picture is inaccurate. The second picture is more realistic. The battery cover screw is delicate and stripped out when I tried to remove. Careful with this screw. (I had to drill out and replaced.) The side red laser pieces do not light up. Decent looking detail, laser is telescopic, not like the movie prop. Overall for the $$ its ok value. Pretty nice for the price.. even lights up. Sad the crossguards don’t light up though. Quick shipping and good price!
