One of the worst purchases I have ever made. The assembly of this is straight forward and was assembled by myself in 1 hour. There is a small flaw in the design however. The design flaw is really nothing more than a cosmetic problem. The two piece plastic caps that are designed to hide the wiring and bolts at the base of the right upright will not go down over the wiring. This is a really flimsy machine. It is rated for 300 lbs. but I think even 200 lbs. will be to much for this machine. Mine is an original model and has a 2 CHP motor, ( the newer machine have a 2.5 CHP Motor) which together with the frame is warranted for 5 years. Parts and labor are warranted for 90 days, The display is very limited as to what can be displayed, either speed, or calories burned, or time, but nothing at the same time. It goes to 10 MPH , with 10 incline settings. The walking platform is very short 16 x 50, and was designed for walking only. It also has build in speakers, and you can plug you can listen to your ipod easily It might be better suited for a small apartment. Pro-Form makes excellent treadmills, but this one is on the bottom of the pile. If you purchase this one you should consider the extended 3 - 5 year warranty because in my opinion you will likely need it. Better yet, consider a better model because its almost a sure thing this model will not last very long.Read full review
