This version of the movie is the BEST in my opinion. Since they've gone in and Re-mastered the movie in later versions/special editions, the sound effects are different from the original with no PUNCH, the original Hemdale disc sound effects are much more brutal sounding and have more impact on the scenes. Especially the police station battle, the sound effects are weak in the re-mastered versions and completely diff from this version which really takes away the intensity of the scenes, it's almost as if it's been toned down and censored in the later versions. Plus the original gritty print in the Hemdale version gives it almost a "B film/Grindhouse" look. This is the version to go with if you want the absolute "original treatment"!

The Terminator - Opened the doors for many action films of today Dark and disturbing, definitely one of my favorite movies from the 80's. Arnie is absolutely spectacular as the evil Terminator. This movie really started it all, in my opinion Terminator opened the doors for many action/sci-fi movie stars. Terminator is a classic movie that belongs in any movie fans collection.
