This cooler fits nicely between front seats in many passenger vans as well as behind the front seats in most cars and trucks. It is slim, tall and not too wide. The door is sealed with a rubber gasket to improve cooling efficiency and help keep contents cool longer once unplugged.

Product Information

Coolers are usually large and unwieldy, which is why Koolatron developed the Compact Kooler, specially designed to fit in the snug spaces behind the seats of many cars, trucks, and vans. Like many of Koolatron's coolers, this unit features a 12-volt cooling system that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter. The cooler's motor blows cold air over your food and beverages, keeping them 40 degrees F cooler than the outside temperature. The cooler also doubles as a warmer, if you'd rather keep the contents toasty. Outside of the car or truck, the cooler is still versatile, with a swinging, foldaway handle for easy portage and a latchless lid that opens with one hand. Other handy features include a convenient cord wrap and a unique storage spot for the unplugged cigarette lighter.

No, it isn't a refrigerator, but it will keep your drinks and sandwiches nice and cool - approximately 40 degrees below the ambient temperature. It can also serve as a warmer, but I haven't used that feature - and don't expect to. It is nice an quiet and carries a nice load of water or drinks with room left over for vegetables, fruit and or sandwiches. Great for traveling.

Awesome product, . & Perfect for auto travel
My husband and I have a conversion van we take on long trips. Your cooler is perfect for those long trips I prepare ahead of time, with water & snacks. This cooler is so awsome, I start the night before we leave Pack & Plug it into a home outlet. the next morning everything in it is super cold. I've never had another product like this so I had no idea it could work do well. Took it from Washington State to Las Vagus and was so happy with how well it worked I couldn't believe it.
